The friendships and connections you made at SMU don't have to end at graduation. Alumni Groups and Alumni Chapters are a great way to reconnect with classmates, meet fellow alumni, grow your professional network and create new memories together.
Led by dedicated alumni volunteers and supported by the SMU Office of Alumni Relations (OAR), these communities bring alumni together through networking events, thought leadership sessions, social gatherings, volunteer opportunities and shared interests.

Enabled with OAR's support, Schools collaborate in synergy with alumni volunteers of their respective Alumni Chapters, to engage, strengthen and nurture lifelong relationships with their alumni communities. There are currently 4 School Alumni Chapters:
Alumni groups from various postgraduate programmes are set up to engage SMU’s community of postgraduate alumni and foster a sense of belonging. Postgraduate alumni are also automatically enrolled into the programme-based alumni group depending on the programme they graduated from.
