Privileges at SMU Libraries
As a member of the SMU alumni community, you’re welcome to drop by the Li Ka Shing Library and Kwa Geok Choo Law Library during library operating hours, except in March, April, October, and November.
You’ll also enjoy complimentary access to the Business Source Alumni Edition database, along with discounted subscription rates for selected publications.
Getting in is easy. Simply log in to Hexagon and show your digital alumni card to the librarian on duty.

Preferential Parking Rates at SMU (1 Jan to 30 Jun 2026)
Preferential Parking offers added flexibility for members of the SMU community who use SMU car parks occasionally and for few hours at a time.
The Preferential Parking Fee is capped at a fixed discount of 15% off the prevailing public car parking rates for Alumni and Associate Alumni. The Preferential Parking privilege is limited to the first 30 alumni who register and will be granted on a first-come first-served basis. Please note that a non-refundable administrative fee of $10.00 is required for each application submitted.

Hotdesking Facilities for SMU Alumni Entrepreneurs and Business Owners* Enjoy access to hotdesking facilities at the newly renovated Jay & Marilyn Ng Greenhouse.
✅ For existing cardholders: Simply request an extension of your Greenhouse Access (valid till 31 July 2026) at no additional cost.
✅ For new applicants: Apply to join our vibrant community of alumni founders. An admin fee of $15 per card applies.

For booking enquiries, please contact the SMU Leasing Business Units. Booking requests are to be made at least 2 weeks in advance.
*Please note that private events do not include corporate events, even if the company is solely owned by you. If you would like to hold seminars, marketing campaigns, or any activity relates to your company, the space will be rented to you at published rates.
SMU ALCove – your dedicated Alumni Lounge in-the-City
Right in the heart of campus, ALCove is a shared space for alumni to reconnect, take a breather between meetings, or simply spend some time on campus. During the day, an OARsome staff member is on site to manage access and help with any questions you may have.
