Welcome to the MITB Alumni Community
The MITB experience does not end at graduation.
Our Alumni Group brings together MITB graduates from different cohorts, backgrounds and stages of their careers. It is a place to reconnect with familiar faces, meet fellow alumni, exchange ideas and continue learning from one another.
Whether you would like to attend an event, contribute your experience, volunteer for an initiative or simply keep in touch, there is a place for you in the MITB alumni community.
Our Vision
To build a vibrant and future-focused MITB alumni network that fosters lifelong connections, mutual growth and collective impact for our members, SMU and the wider community.

Our Events
Every event gives us another opportunity to come together. Some focus on learning and professional development, while others create space for alumni to catch up, meet people from other cohorts and strengthen connections across the community.
Here are some of the events we have organised so far.
26 May 2026
SMU ALCove
The panel brought together Koo Sengmeng from AI Singapore, Nikhil Sahai from Warner Bros. Discovery and Chris Zhou from Atome Financial, with our sub-committee member, Diana Kuleshova, as moderator. The speakers shared their perspectives on how artificial intelligence had changed the workplace over the preceding 12 months.
25 March 2026
Hopscotch, Capital
A relaxed evening brought MITB alumni from different cohorts together to reconnect, meet new people and enjoy conversations beyond the classroom and workplace.
13 November 2025
SMU ALCove
Our guest speaker, Mr Ray Goh from DBS Bank, introduced participants to Kiro, an agentic AI integrated development environment focused on specification-driven development and structured workflows. The session gave alumni an opportunity to explore evolving approaches to AI-assisted software development and learn together as a community.
