Yip Pin Xiu, a para-swimmer from Singapore and an alumna of SMU, secured a silver medal in the women’s 50m backstroke at the Melbourne leg of the World Para Swimming Series. This accomplishment follows her achievement of winning a bronze medal the previous day.
