SMU interaction night for arts & cultural fraternity alumni

SMU Rugby – aka “Home of the City Boys” have seen batches of rugby boys played passionately and bonded over their love for the sport. Some of them continue to return to SMU after graduation to play and to coach their juniors. The SMU Rugby Alumni Group will be officially launched on 21st August at the University Lounge. The formation of this interest-based Alumni Group brings the total Alumni Groups to 35. If you were once a part of Home of the City Boys, join us in the launch and to relive the glorious rugby days of yesteryears! Register now! |
Incepted in 2004, SMU's resident brazilian percussion band Samba Masala began as a humble dhol percussion group. Since then, Samba Masala has made a name for itself on both local and international stages, wowing audiences and establishing itself as an esteemed batucada. Samba alumni can now join the Alumni Group - the SMU City Samba Alumni Group - with its official launch on 26th August. With the formation, we can expect the tempo of Samba music to be raised even higher! The band will also strive to make Samba music more relatable to audiences everywhere, whilst staying connected and giving back to the University |
The Arts and Cultural Fraternity, with some 25 clubs, binds students and alumni with a love for art, music, dance, and the performing arts together. With a fraternity a few thousand strong, it is fitting for a networking event to be organised each year - to catch up on old times and to pursue new collaborations. This year, the SMU Interaction Night for ACF alumni and students is slated for 8th September to coincide with the SMU Arts Festival Opening Event. Gather your friends and meet to relive the memories over food and drinks at your own Alumni Bistro B3! |
