With the help of SMU’s Office of Integrated Information Technology Services, we take great pleasure in announcing the launch of OAR’s newly revamped alumni website, one that is easier to navigate and more user-friendly. New features include current information from live social media feeds and news postings, a university-wide alumni events calendar, and the option for Alumni Groups to customise their own group pages. SMUpreneurs, our Entrepreneurs Alumni Group, has not been resting on its laurels! Soon after its launch and a recently concluded “Industry Night” attended by more than 130 alumni entrepreneurs, it has now launched a listing of SMU alumni businesses. The directory tracks 225 alumni firms, and categorises them into 10 broad areas such as Food & Beverage, Finance & Consulting, Tech, Education, etc. Its goal is to reach a listing of 1000 businesses.
