"Anyone who stops learning is old, whether at twenty or eighty. Anyone who keeps learning stays young." - Henry Ford Lifelong learning is something a person simply cannot ignore. With the fast-moving economy, it is important to regularly pick up new skills or refresh one's knowledge in order to stay competitive. Regardless if you had just graduated, or had attained your degree ten years ago, your alma mater is here to support your journey of professional and personal development. This month, we bring to you two stories of alumni who never rested on their laurels: with an individual traveling from overseas to attend courses at SMU, and another young graduate who was undeterred by his unfamiliarity in the field of technology.
If you are inspired by Li Jun and Kenny's stories, scroll down to discover the multitude of programmes and courses available to you as SMU alumni, under the Career and Professional Development section. Happy learning! |
