SMU alumna and national sprinter Shanti Pereira ran the races of her life on the track, and was rewarded with a boatload of accolades in 2023. She bested her own national records in the 100 m and 200 m several times, and clinched two medals at the Asian Games in Hangzhou. Shanti is hearing up for a big year next year, with hope for more honours and medals to come her way.
