Speaking in an interview about SMU Institute of Innovation & Entrepreneurship’s (IIE) flagship education programme Protégé Ventures, SMU alumnus and former Managing Partner at Protégé Ventures Yong Hua Bing shared his experiences and how he benefitted from the student-led venture capital (VC) fund. He said that members of the programme have a close working relationship with the VC scene which gives them an edge when applying for roles in the industry. Chris Sirise from Saison Capital, a VC firm which works closely with Protégé Ventures, also shared his views on the value of working with SMU IIE’s programme.
