With plastic waste being a burgeoning problem, besides trying to minimise her own consumption, SMU alumna Anna Lam took one step further to create an edible cutlery startup called Crunch Cutlery, which manufactures and sells edible cutlery fortified with nutrition. After several iterations, Ms Lam “stumbled upon” the superfood angle, and together with her co-founder Sean Neo, have recently released a seven-flavour range, which features more “fun and healthy” flavours. Crunch Cutlery is incubated under the SMU Business Innovations Generator Programme.
