Let go at 60, she finds new role in start-up

Madam Becky Chan, who lost her job at the age of 60, secured a position as a shipping and procurement manager at Moovaz, a Singapore-based start-up specialising in international moving services. SMU alumnus Lee Junxian, Moovaz’s Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer said that while Madam Chang's decades of experience in the shipping field ticked all the boxes, it was her willingness to learn that stood out.
