Both Mr Shivanand Rai and Mr Janarthanan Krishnasamy, both alumni of SMU, started the website SgHindu, to help share issues concerning Hindu events in Singapore. It also has a Facebook page that offers information on the religion drawn from ancient sources and literary texts.
