Patron of SMU, President Halimah Yacob shared her insights on a wide range of topics with the 48 participants at the Young Women’s Leadership Connection (YWLC) annual Mentees Night held at SMU on 10 October 2018. SMU alumna and mentorship director of YWLC Ms Goh Xin Ying was the moderator. YWLC, which currently has a community of more than 300 young women professionals aged 21 to 35, was started by Mrs Lim Hwee Hua, who was Singapore's first female full minister, in 2008.
