SMU Peer Helpers Alumni Group held their annual Chinese New Year Reunion on 23 February, which saw more than 70 alumni and students gathered at the Function Lounge in SMU School of Law. Against the backdrop of a stunning view overlooking Armenian Street and SMU Labs, the Peer Helpers exuberantly tossed up the "Lo Hei" to usher in the brand new year.
No alumni group event would be complete without sumptuous food and drinks, catered from B3 Alumni Bistro.
Conversations flowed freely as the alumni interacted with the current students and exchange ideas on each other's activities.
The executive committee also took the opportunity to announce their upcoming initiative of a Peer Helpers Alumni Group Community Service Project (CSP). Members who have been active in the alumni group's events are eligible to take part in the CSP, thus furthering the meaningful cause of the Peer Helpers' community.
