SMU alumnus Zac Chua, Founder and CEO of The Kettle Gourmet, conceptualised the idea of creating popcorn with new and exciting flavours such as Teh Tarik while he was studying at SMU. The Kettle Gourmet was launched after he graduated and is now a rapidly growing business with over 200 clients across B2B and B2C platforms.
Each batch of popcorn is hand-baked daily by a team of bakers in their central kitchen at Tai Seng, and its ingredients are carefully sourced from around the world. Mr Chua’s start-up has recently launched a new flavour – bak kwa popcorn and will soon launch more exotic flavours such as chilli crab.
