During SMU alumnus Hubert Ng’s student exchange to Taiwan in 2016, he met a popular online music duo “That Couple” who urged him to stay in Taiwan to compose songs for them. Following his interest, he took a sabbatical break from school and helped produce six songs for them. Mr Ng shared the challenges and obstacles he faced while trying to break into the music scene in Taiwan, before he finally achieved a breakthrough to gain popularity.
