In the second of a four-part series on multi-generational Food and Beverage firms, SMU Lee Kong Chian School of Business alumnus John Cheng Chen Long, who is also the third-generation owner of Cheng Yew Heng Candy Factory, spoke about how the company has defied the odds to produce traditional rock sugar for seven decades. He also shared his reasons for joining the family business, the challenges he faced as a third-generation owner, as well as the expansion plans for the business.
