Director's Message
Welcome to SMU CIRCLE!
In this issue, we shine the spotlight on SMU alumnus Jin Qiang, who transitioned from being a video game enthusiast to developing cutting-edge digital solutions for Singapore's urban planners. His true passion, however, lies in using technology to enable and empower Singapore's elderly population.
We also delve into SMU's new Overseas Centre in Jakarta, which opened in December 2022, and hear from Sherlyn Koh from the SMU Office of Overseas Centres, on the opportunities it will provide to our alumni community.
As we celebrated the COVID-delayed 10th anniversary of the SMU EMBA programme, we hear from Academic Director Dr. Ang Ser Keng on ways the EMBA alumni can support and contribute to its continued success.
We value your feedback and suggestions, and invite you to reach out to us with your ideas or questions.
Thank you for staying connected to SMU and for your continued engagement with the university.
