On 25 September 2026, the SMU Funk Movement Alumni Group aka ๐๐ช๐ฃ๐ ๐ผ๐๐ฉ๐๐ง5 welcomed its newest members at its annual gathering ๐๐ฟ๐ฒ๐๐ต ๐ข๐๐๐๐ฎ ๐๐๐ป๐ธ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฒ ๐
The Exco introduced members to the groupโs purpose and objectives, recapped the yearโs activities, shared upcoming plans and events, and outlined its goals for next year.
The evening was not all serious presentations. Through a series of fun and interactive games, members had the opportunity to connect, forge new friendships, and strengthen existing bonds within the Funk community.
Kudos to the Exco and Committee, Cherie Lee (BBM 2025), Egene Phang (BBM 2026), Rui Min Ong (BBM 2024), Eileen Lee (BAcc 2023), Jin Liang Loh (BSc IS 2024), Jolene Wee (BBM 2025), Tammy Lee (BSc IS 2025), and Haw Yuan Zhi (BSc Econ 2023) for their passion and dedication in curating engaging alumni activities that bring alumni together throughout the year.
We look forward to seeing the community continue to grow, inspire one another, and thrive through dance ๐โจ
