On 27 February, the #OARsome team joined Professor Heli Wang, Dean of the College of Graduate Research Studies, and SMU's postgraduate research community at SMU ALCove to celebrate Chinese New Year.
A rousing Lion Dance, a bubbly Cai Shen Ye spreading huatness through ALCove, and a Lohei toss that nobody held back on - the evening had all the makings of a good CNY. More than the festivities though, it was the conversations that lingered. Across research programmes and graduation years, people caught up, swapped stories, and left with a few new connections.
