On 8 January 2026, the Office of Alumni Relations marked the successful completion of the SMU Mentoring Pinnacle with DBS 2025 programme, celebrating the achievements of mentors and mentees following a six-month mentoring journey.
The 2025 edition of the programme saw 49 DBS mentors support 96 SMU alumni mentees through one-to-one mentoring relationships focused on career development, personal growth, and professional guidance. The event also marked the sixth consecutive year of collaboration between SMU and DBS in delivering the flagship mentoring programme.
The closing session recognised the dedication and commitment of both mentors and mentees, while acknowledging DBS' continued partnership in supporting alumni development. A highlight of the event was a gratitude activity, where mentees penned handwritten notes to their mentors, expressing appreciation for the guidance, encouragement, and insights they had received throughout the programme.
The programme continues to strengthen the SMU alumni community by fostering meaningful mentoring relationships, lifelong learning, and lasting professional connections.
