SMU alumna Maribelle Seah is the founder of artisan chocolate boutique BerryBar, which she started four years ago during the COVID-19 circuit breaker. She studied psychology at SMU because she wanted to become a police officer, but realised that while she enjoyed learning psychology, she did not necessarily want a career in it. She had worked in human resource management and as a recruiter before she founded her business. Her goal for 2024 is to expand the team in Singapore and start BerryBar Dubai following her relocation to Dubai.
