SMU alumna Joey Cheng started playing football at 13, but only joined the school team when she was 16. After enrolling at SMU, she became president of the university's women's football club. Now a national midfielder, she shared about her struggles to juggle work and sport. She could not play in the Women’s Asian Cup qualifiers as she was busy with her job as a programmer at The Theatre Practice.
