SMU alumna Ms Nadia Ahmad Samdin, a lawyer and MP, said that she is thankful to have received some financial assistance while in high school and in her first year at SMU she received the SMU Law Bursary. Currently, she is also one of two campaign ambassadors for A Greater Gift which was started by the Community Foundation of Singapore (CFS), a welfare organisation which encourages legacy giving. When she was serving at the Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday Memorial Scholarship Fund Board (LBKM), together with other members she started The Top-Up Fund to add value to EZ-Link cards for students.
