SMU alumna Yip Pin Xiu – who made history by becoming Singapore's first Paralympic champion in 2008 in Beijing after winning the 50m backstroke S3 – shared the ups and downs in her 15-years of competitive swimming. Ms Yip, who has set her sights at the upcoming Tokyo 2020 Paralympics, hopes to be able to participate in the 2024 Paris Paralympics as well.
