SMU Alumna Yip Pin Xiu commented that in the year spent as a nominated member of parliament (NMP) she had the opportunity to get to know the sports scene better and that she has been trying to initiate efforts both in and out of parliament to bring more awareness to the parasport scene in Singapore. She also shared that the key to her success was working smart on top of working hard.
