Since taking over the family business nine years ago with her sister, SMU alumna and Managing Director of Cooking Art Industries Clarie Ariela Shen has dedicated her efforts towards innovating and incorporating healthier ingredients in the making of kuehs, and modernising their business operations – all with the hope of preserving the heritage of Nonya kuehs and promoting it internationally.
