For undergraduates, we understand that career discovery is the biggest concern for our students. The inaugural Get R.E.A.L. Conference & Networking Dinner 2017 on 17th March was specially curated to prepare SMU students for the transition to post-university work life. Over 180 students and alumni attended the Conference with breakout seminars which culminated to a networking dinner over food and drinks.
Students who attended the conference got to learn from their seniors and alumni from various industries. Our invited speakers and alumni shared useful tips on how to take charge of their career trajectory and advancement. Alumni and students were engaged in open and interactive discussions as alumni shared their views on topics such as corporate culture, work-life balance, professional networking etc.

As alumni, one of the best ways to give back to SMU is to share your experiences and to provide valuable industry advice to your juniors. The Office of Alumni Relations (OAR) would like to thank all alumni who attended the conference and dinner. Your presence and advice made a difference to our graduating students, our future alumni!
