SMU Sports Union (SSU) led the way in the first CBD collaborative Interaction Night for 2016. Working together with SMU Alumni Association (SMUAA), SSU co-organised the 2nd SSU Alumni Interaction Night on 11th August at the alumni café - B3, with the support of the Office of Student Life and the Office of Alumni Relations.
The night opened with a warm welcome by the current 12th SSU President, Mr Shannon Koh, as well as short sharing by SMUAA Exco Member Ms Elaine Ong on the future collaborations with SSU and upcoming plans from the Association.
The event was also graced by Dr Bervyn Lee, Associate Dean of Students, Ms Bernadette Toh, Director of the Office of Global Learning and Professor Low Aik Meng, Director of the Office of Alumni Relations. The trio gamely participated in a drinking contest which pitted them against our students and alumni.
Everyone tucked into the sumptuous food while catching up with one another throughout the night. The inaugural SSU Alumni Interaction Night in 2015 had brought the SSU family closer together and this year's event was no exception. From the look of things, the SSU Interaction Night will be an annual tradition for all SSU alumni to look forward to!
