SMU Master of Business Administration (MBA) alumna Ms Nurul Jihadah Hussain was featured in a Postgraduate Studies special where she shared her positive experience pursuing her MBA at SMU. Nurul said she was drawn to SMU's commitment to diversity, internationally recognised faculty and strong alumni network. She spoke favourably about the electives of the SMU MBA, which are constantly refreshed to help prepare the students for long-term management careers in complex and dynamic environments in business development and consulting, amongst other. She also appreciated the varied teaching styles, enriching and engaging programmes, as well as the efforts to invite external speakers and even clients, who gave the topics more relevance with their real-life expertise. Ms Nurul said the SMU MBA has made her a lot more confident about her ability to learn, and put her in touch with so many people that she would never have met otherwise. “It allowed me to understand perspectives I had never considered before and really challenged some of my assumptions,” she added.
