BUBBLES N SCRUBS
What was meant to be a bonding activity for the family to unwind during the COVID-19 pandemic while creating alternative bath and body solutions for their child who has sensitive skin, ended up becoming a family business for SMU graduate, Chloe Then (BBM 2010).
Set up in 2000, Bubbles n Scrubs is a local homegrown brand that specialises in handcrafted natural bath and body aromatherapy products. Using only natural botanical ingredients and plant-based essential oils, every product is handmade with sustainability in mind. Bubbles and Scrubs’ eco efforts include the use of plastic-free packaging and selling freshly crafted products on demand to reduce product waste.

Another bathroom tip that is good for the environment as well as for your hair is shampoo bars. According to Singapore-based start-up Beth, you can reduce your carbon footprint from shampooing by up to 92% with a single 100g shampoo bar.
